For the past month my budgie has been sneezing occasionally. He doesn't have a cold so it's probably not the reason. He has no diarrhea. His activity level is fine, and he cleans himslef regularly. He sleeps in the bathroom, can it be because of it? Since there's always humidity and washing powder smell. Sneezing can be up to 4 tomes a day, sometimes 2 sneezes in a row. Someone told me to have him checked for ornithosis... can it be so serious?
Yes ... the only way to know for certain is to have it checked by a vet.
If it were more serious than something as simple as too much dust, then I would think there would also be other symptoms. However, I'm not a vet and I haven't had a bird for many years, so I'm really only guessing.
Maybe someone more experienced with birds will jump in soon to offer you more advice than I can give.
